Meditation increases mana regeneration, which goes up by 25% per level and increases the radius of the effect by 1.3 yards per level. The only real issue with this Runeword occurs when you get a very low roll on the Meditation aura. But the Meditation aura is so strong at mid-levels that the small sacrifices are worth it.

It shows some of the problems with any compromise, in that it's average but not spectacular at either job. In fact, its other properties show a remarkably good balance between being a caster weapon (for leveling casters) and a melee weapon (for Act II mercenaries). It's also sometimes used in a staff for casters, as it has good Faster Cast Rate. It still works well as a melee weapon for the Mercenary.
